as we explore the best way to serve our community.
Reaching Out with Food and Kindness
In Los Angeles County alone, almost 60,000 people are experiencing homelessness on a given night, according to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.
Each week at All Saints,’ we serve 150 hot meals to the hungry and homeless in our community. The meal takes place right here at the church, and we need roughly 30 volunteers to facilitate this large gathering.
Join us on any level! Whether your gifts are in cooking, serving, cleaning, hospitality, music or bible study, you’re invited into our community of service.
Kitchen Team
The kitchen crew prepares the meals on Monday morning. It is a great way to start your week and learn how to cook and prepare food for 150 people. The work is from 8am -1pm.
Hospitality Team
It takes a team to check in our guests and help them with their bags. This team works from 12-4 to ensure that the patio is safe and orderly.
Pickup Team
We lucky to have relationships with generous donors like The Farmers Market and Whole Foods and several local cafes. We need regular pick ups and drop offs from volunteers.
Monday Meal Band
It takes a team to check in our guests and help them with their bags. This team works from 12pm - 4pm to ensure the patio is safe and orderly.
Prep Team
Setting tables for 100 people is a lot of work. Join us in the mornings from 9-12 to help setup the dining hall and serving stations.
Bible Study
After the meal, we offer a time of prayer and bible study for our guests. Attendance is not required in order to receive any services. 2pm to 4pm.
