Families at All Saints’
Forming the Fabric of All Saints’ Parish
At All Saints we are passionate about nurturing relevant faith, creating Christ centered community, and foster spiritual growth that changes lives! Our vibrant Youth Ministry is designed to provide a welcoming, inclusive, safe and Jesus-centered community for youth of all ages. We have a number of opportunities for our youth and families to get involved!
Sunday School for All Ages:
Every Sunday morning we offer Sunday School programs for all age groups.
Our Godly Play classroom opens at 9:30 am, providing an interactive and creative learning environment for young children in 5th grade and below. Together with their Godly Play instructors, our kids explore biblical stories and lessons in a Montessori style learning environment. The youth conclude their Godly Play lessons around 10:30am, in which they return into the Church to sit with their parents before communion.
Our Middle and High Schoolers are invited to join us for “Children’s Chapel!” Beginning just before the sermon at the 10:00am service. Our older youth process to the side chapel together for their own homily and activity, before rejoining the congregation and their parents for communion.
Middle School Youth Group:
Our Middle School Youth Group is an active and engaging community where all are encouraged to explore their faith, make friends, and have a ton of fun. Through a variety of interactive activities, games, discussions, and events, we help middle schoolers grow in their relationship with God while building lifelong friendships.
High School Youth Group:
Our High School Youth Group is a place where older youth can delve deeper into what this faith means to and for them. Each participant is encouraged to explore, debate, and ultimately own their faith. We provide a safe space for high schoolers to ask questions, seek answers, and grow spiritually together. We explore relevant topics and engage in meaningful discussions, rooted in who Jesus says that we are and are called to be. This group also offers the opportunity to go through the Sacramental Rite of Confirmation, which results in the opportunity to confirm the faith of their baptism with the Bishop of Los Angeles.
Both of our youth groups meet simultaneously on Sunday afternoons with our clergy and youth volunteers. Lunch is served at 12:30, or just after our 11:30am service. Following lunch they then break out into age groups from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. We close each youth group with our youth and parents joining together for a prayer as one family under our loving God.
Monthly All-Ages Events:
In addition to our regular youth group and Sunday School programs, we host exciting all-ages events each month. These events include lock-ins, parties, movie nights, service opportunities, and more. These monthly events offer the opportunity for our youth and families the chance to come together to create long lasting memories, grow in the family of God, and have a blast!
At All Saints’, our youth ministry is about building a supportive and loving community where young people can grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and experience the joy of knowing Jesus. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where youth can explore their faith, ask questions, and develop a strong foundation of faith in Christ that will guide them through life.
Join us and be a part of this incredible journey of faith, friendship, and fun. We look forward to welcoming you to our Youth and Family Ministry!
